Oh, how I have waited for this book. Laurenston returned with one of the best of the Pack Challenge series Big Bad Beast. Finally Ric Van Holtz gets his girl and DeeAnn Smith never stood a chance against Ric's determination to have her. Now that Ric is DeeAnn's commander/handler, they have to see each other more ofter and then there's the fact that DeeAnn is always breaking in to Ric's apartment (not that he minds at all). There are a few surprises in this book, having more to do with Ric and DeeAnn's relationship than any plot devices. Any fan of the series can figure out that there is going to be a conflict between shifter species and crazy antics on the ice. This is one series that I would enjoy seeing coming back several times over.
