Because of You by Rochelle Alers

**** Great beginning to another series by Rochelle Alers. I almost passed on this one because I didn't want to get used to new people. But SURPRISE SURPRISE! This was the very delicious Jordan Wainwright from her Men of Fate series and there's quite a lot going on here.
Well worth picking up and I can't wait for book 2, featuring Jordon's football playing cousin, Brandt Wainwright.

Kindle Lending Club

Kindlelendingclub.com is the best thing since book stores with coffee shops. I bought my Kindle in November and haven't regretted it for one moment. I love this thing. Finally Amazon picked their game up and finally added the ability to borrow books from other Kindle owners. WHAT?????? Awesome.
So, when I've started a series but have run out of book money, I can always borrow from one of a million "friends" with a Kindle or Kindle app.

Aww. Life is good.

Kimani Romance

Kimani Romance is stepping their game up and changing focus with some new releases by Kimberly Kaye Terry.   Ms. Terry has been writing some pretty hot interracial romances for years but now, I think, it's her time to jump into the mainstream with her new titles for Kimani.  Hot to Touch (Kimani Romance) was released November 2010 and I loved it. Though it wasn't the same heat that I'd experienced with Just Like Candy or Scream My Name (Kensington), it was enough to know that I liked the new direction her work was taking.
Coming soon from Kimberly Kaye Terry and Kimani are To Tempt a Wilde (Kimani Romance) Feb 2011, To Love a Wilde (Kimani Romance) March 2011, and To Desire a Wilde (Kimani Romance) April 2011.  Can't wait.

Neglect

Kindle 3G Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 3G Works Globally, Graphite, 6" Display with New E Ink Pearl TechnologySadly since I started a new job and then got a Kindle, I have not paid much attention to this page. It's not that I haven't been reading, it's just that I haven't been chronicling what I've read.  Since my Kindle purchase in November, I have not been without this "library in my pocket". I carry this thing everywhere (even on a trip to my grandfather's funeral).
In addition to the 120+ books I already owned via my Android and Blackberry Kindle app, I have added about 90 books to it so far. And my goal for 2011 is to see if I can max out the memory on the Kindle3. I only have one game and one magazine subscription loaded on it, so it's nearly pure. With all of the hoopla about Ipad, Nook Color, Kobo, etc, the Kindle is for the serious reader. I mean, do your print books come in color? The serious reader in me appreciates the life-like print and the ease of use. I have a smartphone and a laptop if I need to edit my blog or write college thesis. This  device is for those who have always been teased about having their heads stuck in a book, well, it's still there. Now it's just a better looking book.
